COACHING

Coaches play an integral part in the development of players, both on and off the field. Learn the basics of coaching, or develop your skills below.

Thank you, Coach!

Coaching junior cricket can be an incredibly rewarding experience, but it takes an impressive skillset to support young people in sport! To help you in your coaching journey, whether you're passionate about developing young cricketers or just making sure they've got a team this season, we've got some learning opportunities designed perfectly for you. Check out the options below!

Our next learning opportunities are:

Advanced Coaching Course, Sun 17th Nov and Wed 20th Nov at Shirley Strickland Reserve.

Community Coaching Courses

Open to all coaches and people interested in supporting junior cricketers. In one evening, you'll learn how to design fun & engaging activities, and create a welcoming environment.

Skill Specific Workshops

There is no denying that there are some daunting technical elements of cricket... we offer workshops on pace bowling, spin bowling, power hitting and scoring runs, & wicketkeeping.

Mentoring &
Site Visits

The best person to support your learning is often someone in a similar context, so let us come to you! Let us know you'd like a site visit by completing the expression of interest form.

Advanced
Coaching Courses

For experienced coaches, or working with older and more skilful athletes, we recommend this 2-day course to level up your skills and design more complex learning environments.
