Player Safety:

Player safety is undoubtedly the most important part in any decision making.

The information contained in this communication is provided using Cricket Australia’s Heat Stress Rating Index. Managers, coaches, and parents are advised to implement reasonable and proportionate measures to alleviate the impact of heat on their players.

The Laws of Cricket permits umpires to halt the match if the conditions of the weather are dangerous or unreasonable. This includes in high temperatures.

Current Recommendations:

CJCA

Saturday:

All matches now starting at 7:30AM, extra drinks breaks required.

Sunday:

All matches now starting at 7:30AM, extra drinks breaks required.

NWMCA

Saturday:

All matches require extra drinks breaks.

Sunday:

All matches begin half an hour early, extra drinks breaks required.

SEMJCC

Saturday:

All matches require extra drinks breaks.

Sunday:
